Often times women suffer from chronic lower back pain during pregnancy. Due to an increase in progesterone hormone and softening of support ligaments and disks, women get backaches. Urinary infections are also common in causing back-pain within pregnant women. Because the center of gravity changes, invariably this causes pain in the back as well.

Exercising in the early stages of your pregnancy will definitely lessen the chances of recurring lower back pain. When late in pregnancy women tend to pull the shoulder back to deal with the extra weight, but only to result in back strain, which then leads to lower back aches.
Another important factor is getting plenty of rest. Standing on your feet for numerous of hours at a time is quite dangerous for the back during pregnancy. Besides the rest issue, keep in mind to stay away from activities that may be strenuous to your body. Another way to deal with chronic lower back pain during pregnancy is by practicing yoga.
